The limits or issues of the hypotheses of this film are as follows: First, the qualification of the editor who deals with Zoe-chip, and functional problems of Zoe-chip itself. Second, the problem of human rights and privacy. Third, the possibility of categorical mistake immanent in memory devices and editing devices. Fourth, the differences between the direct perceptions of someone and the memory saved in Zoe-chip. Fifth, functional weakness of Zoe-chip that it cannot save the mental acts or the function of thought. The functional limits of Zoe-chip might be improved to some degree if the development of cognitive science and neurology is accelerated, but the ethical issues or the problem of fairness and privacy are difficult to solve. Therefore we have to try serious humanistic approach to these problems. In chapter Ⅳ I inquired into the conception of activity(karma) and its trace(vāsanā) as well as perception(pratyakṣa) and memory(smṛti) in the perspective of Buddhist Philosophy. I proved the similarity between the thinking of Henri Bergson(1859-1941) and Sautrāntika philosophy especially in perception and memory. The common points of Henri Bergson and Sautrāntika philosophy are that every perceptions are transient, so we can perceive the past only, and that we cannot seize the moment, and all perceptions are memory or trace of the past. 줄이기
